Scholarship Coordinator NEW!
Coordinates the Circle of Scholars Program and provides support to all scholarship programs, serving as a liaison for more than 30 Tribal Colleges and Mainstream Universities that we serve and providing administrative support to the Scholarship Grant Administrator. Project Grants Administrator NEW!
This position is primarily responsible for supporting the Project Officer in administering a complex five-year $15 million grant program to build intellectual capital at 33 tribal colleges and universities (TCUs) that ends in September 2012. The project is in year four. The architecture of the project is comprised of a four-tiered award schedule, payable annually (2007-2012). A supplemental project is designated for six projects to enhance their original programs. A second supplemental project provides for professional development to the 33 presidents at TCU funded under the grant. The position has direct responsibility for administering portions of the grant activity, including a special scholars program and the initiative to provide professional development resources to tribal college presidents. Projects Administrative Assistant NEW!
The role of this position is to effectively administer donor funding intended to transform tribal colleges and universities. Good stewardship of donor directed resources enhances the probability of receiving future funding. In addition, this position supports efforts in obtaining, organizing, and disseminating information regarding the tribal colleges and universities that will help fundraising efforts by demonstrating need and impact. Tribal Development Officer
This position is critical in identifying and building relationships with tribal donors in order to develop partnerships that benefit tribal colleges and their communities. By initiating and growing strong tribal partnerships, the organization is poised to increase charitable giving, thereby expanding its capacity to disburse monies for scholarships. This position plays a key role in meeting the Fund’s strategic initiatives to increase revenue and raise awareness of the organization among a core group of tribal leaders and supporters.
